This year has been an incredible one, with lots of firsts.
Loren and I left our single life and began our journey as husband and wife on March 29th, 2008. We got married after a fun 2 1/2 years of dating. We first met each other at a singles ward neither of us were suppose to be at. I was a little confused when a baby blessing was going to take place and I leaned forward to ask Loren if I was in a singles ward. He affirmed I was in the right place and he noticed I was new and had no one to sit by. He then invited me to sit with him which is not normal for Loren. He is very shy and quite. We got to know each other and he saved a seat for me every Sunday there after.
We were church acquaintances for about 6 months before I got enough courage to ask him for his phone number. Then about 2 weeks later, I asked him to go with me and my roommate to the Halloween party. I had planned on hooking him up with my roommate (she loves red headed men), but I guess it worked in my favor. After that weekend together, I realized I liked him and I wanted him for myself. We then spent every day together after that.We were lucky to meet each other, and I'm glad that we did. I love you Loren and can't wait for this year of firsts.
