Our friend got a 9mm and we went out to the range to do some shooting. I've never shot a 9mm, but for my first time I did pretty well. The target was out about 25 yards, and out of 16 rounds I hit the paper 7 times. I'm a better shot with the revolver, but we didn't have any ammo for it. Loren better behave, or else.

Paige, I didn't know you had a blog! I'm definitely adding you to my list. And good shooting! 9 mm are harder to shoot with. I'm not good with pistols, really. Rifles are more familiar to me.
Too bad I'm not in Idaho anymore. It would be fun to do a target shooting double date.
I just read your post about the ER trip and have to comment. We have that exact slicer and about a month ago I had Aaron slice some potatoes. He lost the tip of his thumb. It probably wasn't as bad as Loren's, we didn't feel the need for the emergency room, but it bled through numerous bandaids. I thought it was funny that we had very similar experiences with the slicer!
