I also got a calling in the Ward. I'm the Valiant 9 class. My first week teaching was last week, and I'll tell you...those kids are wild. I'm very excited about this calling though. I've taken time preparing the lessons and also making a FHE packet out of each lesson for future use.
Recently we had a craft activity night for relief society and I chose two projects. I love them. They came out so well. I can't wait to do the block pictures of my children.

I love both of those crafts! Those look fantastic! I wish our R.S. did something like that, but they seem to be anti-craft for the most part.
Seriously, those are super cute! I didn't do anything for our ward craft thing because none of it was appealing at all to me. But I definitely like those.
I love the framed 'family' thing! Classy. So Valient 9, huh? I am secretly hoping I never get a primary calling. Big groups of little, expectant children make me sweat. You will do so great, though. I still need you to come decorate my house... er, ummmm, my apartment.
Those are some SWEET crafts.
Those crafts are AWESOME! Could you please share with us how to do them? I love them both...just about equally. Hi, Page, by the way! Miranda directed me to this blog and I just decided to check it randomly today. Hope all is well!
