Christmas was wonderful this year. Loren and I were able to spend Christmas eve and Christmas morning by ourselves with our sweet Callie. Christmas eve Callie wore her new Christmas jammies and we allowed her to open a gift from Grandma Smith. She got 2 CD's, but thought they were books.
She tried and tried to turn the pages, but nothing turned. She was getting so angry that we let her open up some books.
I even let Loren open his footy jammies.
In the morning, we slept in until 8 when Callie woke us up. We opened the rest of our gifts with Callie's help. Callie just loved the building blocks from her cousin.
We then packed up the car and went over to Loren's sisters house. There we had breakfast and opened more gifts. Callie got spoiled; a book, lawn mower, tent, bath toys, and crawling tube. She loved them all.
We then came back to our house and started cooking dinner. We had a wonderful dinner of Ham, Turkey, funeral potatoes, Stuffing, Squash casserole, green beans and cheese sauce, and homemade rolls. It was just delightful. We had a wonderful Christmas. We hope you all did too!
Greatest man in history, Jesus, had no servants, yet they called Him Master. Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. Had no medicine, yet they called Him Healer. Had no army, yet kings feared Him. Won no military battles, yet conquered the world. Wronged no man, yet suffered for the wrongs of all men. Committed no ...crime, yet they crucified Him. Was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
Merry CHRISTmas everyone!
